The 12-Month Marketing Roadmap

The exact framework we use with every client. Stop reacting to marketing fires and start executing with intention.

Why Most Marketing Plans Fail

Most businesses approach marketing in one of two ways: either they have no plan at all (reacting to whatever feels urgent), or they have a 50-page strategy document that nobody reads after January.

Both fail for the same reason: they don’t connect high-level goals to weekly actions.

This roadmap sits in the middle. It’s strategic enough to keep you focused on what matters, and practical enough to drive actual execution.

How to Use This Framework

  1. Set 3-4 annual objectives: What does success look like in 12 months?
  2. Break each quarter into themes: What’s the primary focus?
  3. Assign monthly priorities: What specific deliverables move the needle?
  4. Review and adjust quarterly: Plans should evolve with data

Making It Work

The roadmap is only as good as your commitment to it. Three things make the difference:

  • Weekly reviews: 30 minutes every Monday to check progress against plan
  • Monthly adjustments: Adapt tactics based on data, not gut feelings
  • Quarterly pivots: Be willing to abandon what isn’t working
