13. Google API Services & Connected Applications
AI Digital Consulting operates a reporting application (shown on Google consent screens as “AI Digital Consulting”) that connects to Google services via Google’s OAuth 2.0 and APIs.
What we access. With the account holder’s explicit authorisation, the application reads: (a) advertising campaign performance data (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, campaign status) from Google Ads accounts we manage on behalf of clients, via the Google Ads API; and (b) website analytics and conversion event data from linked Google Analytics 4 properties, via the Google Analytics Data API. With the account holder’s authorisation, the application also manages Google Ads campaigns on their behalf: creating and updating campaigns, adjusting budgets and bids, and pausing or enabling campaigns. Google Analytics access is read-only. The application does not access any other Google services or personal data.
How we use it. This data is used to produce automated performance reports and dashboards for the account owner and our internal account team, and to carry out the campaign-management actions on the authorising account described above. Google user data is never used for advertising targeting, profiling, sold or transferred to third parties, or used to train AI or machine-learning models, and is never used for any purpose beyond providing these services on the authorising account.
Limited Use. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide reporting to the account owner, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with the account owner’s consent or where required for security or legal compliance.
Storage & retention. OAuth tokens are stored securely on our private infrastructure and are never shared. Reported metrics are retained only within the performance reports produced for the account owner. Authorisation can be revoked at any time via Google Account permissions, which immediately disables the application’s access.
